Role overview

We are partnering with an early-stage developer-infrastructure software company that helps large engineering organisations improve the speed, reliability and cost efficiency of software build and test workflows.

The company is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to own new-business sales from prospecting through technical evaluation, negotiation and close. This is a deeply technical sale into engineering organisations, so curiosity and credibility with senior technical stakeholders are essential.

You do not need to be an engineer, but you must be able to learn complex infrastructure concepts, connect technical pain to measurable commercial value and create pipeline through disciplined outbound activity.

What You’ll Do

• Create qualified enterprise pipeline through outbound prospecting and thoughtful account research.
• Prioritise high-fit accounts and map engineering buyers, technical champions and executive sponsors.
• Run personalised outreach across email, LinkedIn, calls and relevant events.
• Lead discovery around build performance, CI cost, developer productivity, cloud infrastructure and engineering priorities.
• Develop a clear business-value case throughout each sales process.
• Own qualification, demonstrations, proposals, negotiation and close.
• Partner closely with Sales Engineering, Product, Customer Success and leadership during technical evaluations.
• Maintain accurate opportunity management and forecasting while helping refine the wider go-to-market motion.

Skills Required

• At least three years in a quota-carrying role selling technical software, cloud, infrastructure, developer tooling or a related product.
• Strong technical curiosity and the ability to learn infrastructure concepts quickly.
• A genuine appetite for outbound prospecting and building pipeline consistently.
• Experience landing and expanding enterprise accounts through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Confidence selling to senior engineering and technical audiences.
• Ability to translate technical capability into measurable business value.
• Experience with a structured enterprise qualification methodology.
• Strong written communication, account research, organisation and commercial discipline.
• Experience in DevTools, CI/CD, cloud, containers, observability or technical security would be particularly relevant.
