We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join an innovative technology organisation developing AI-powered data products within the Defence and Intelligence sector.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in an environment where data is the product, helping transform complex information into actionable intelligence that supports critical decision-making. You’ll become part of a growing AI and data product team, partnering with Product Managers, Engineers, Architects and customer-facing teams to shape next-generation capabilities and deliver meaningful business outcomes.
The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business and technology, translating complex requirements into scalable solutions that influence both product strategy and customer success. You’ll work across Product, Engineering, Data and Customer Success functions to help shape how information is collected, integrated and delivered through innovative AI-enabled products used by customers across the UK, EMEA and North America.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about data, enjoys solving complex business challenges and wants to play a key role in the development of cutting-edge AI and analytics products.
Skills Required
• Proven Business Analysis experience within technology, data-driven or product-led environments
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
• Experience working with data products, data platforms or systems integrations
• Good understanding of APIs and enterprise system integrations
• Hands-on experience using Python, SQL or similar analytical tools
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational database technologies
• Experience analysing complex datasets, business processes and data flows
• Strong requirements gathering, user story creation and acceptance criteria definition skills
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills
• Experience supporting backlog refinement, feature definition and product delivery activities
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Data and Customer Success
• An interest in AI, analytics, data intelligence and emerging technology trends
• Experience working in fast-paced environments where innovation and continuous improvement are key drivers of success
